Rasheid Scarlett founded NetAesthetics in 2005 and leads the firm as Founder & CEO. Under his direction NetAesthetics has grown into an AI implementation consultancy that builds, deploys, and trains mid-market teams on production AI across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and government — the principle that defines the firm is that the team that writes your strategy is the team that ships the code.
Presidential Appointee, FirstNet Authority Board
Rasheid was appointed to the FirstNet Authority Board in October 2024 by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. The FirstNet Authority oversees the nationwide public safety broadband network that serves first responders across the United States. On the Board he serves on the Finance & Investment Committee and chairs the Programs & Future Planning Committee, with a term running through September 2027.

25+ years in telecom and network infrastructure
Before and alongside NetAesthetics, Rasheid spent more than 25 years in telecommunications and network infrastructure, including network-architect roles at Verizon and AT&T. That background — building systems where downtime is not an option — is the source of the security standards and engineering discipline NetAesthetics applies to every AI engagement.
